Results of "Shin-Etsu" pheromone application on immune cultivars in the apple protection system to control of codling moth

Codling moth is a very dangerous pest in apple orchards: the could damage up to 70-90% of pome fruits years mass reproduction. The climate change increased harmfulness during last years. aim our study was determination “Shin-Etsu” dispenser application efficiency for codling disorientation comparing with conventional protection system. experiment done orchards JSC “Dubovoye” (Tambov oblast) 2020-2021. objects were scab immune cultivars Venyaminovskoye and Flagman grafted on B396 rootstock. damaged 9.4-12.1% control treatment after first generation 11.6-15.2% by second generation. experimental system dispensers decreased fruit rate 0.5-0.8% generation—0.9-1.1%. biological both higher reached 92.2-96.7% 90.5-94.0% second. average yield 9.7-12.5 kg tree -1 where 87-90% premium quality.
